高雄楠梓區大樓2日上午進行外牆磁磚打除，卻被民眾拍下未設防護網，有影響行人安全之虞，工務局表示，經通知改善後，該大樓管委會已於大樓4樓位置施作防護網及周邊高壓電保護套，以保護施工及周邊行人安全。
另有關外牆磁磚修繕工法，因為採用垂直吊掛平台施工，相關施工注意事項仍應依據職業安全衛生相關規定辦理，雇主對於有車輛出入、使用道路作業、鄰接道路作業或有導致交通事故之虞的工作場所，都應依規定設置交通號誌、標示或柵欄或圍籬。
勞工局則指出，雇主於吊籠使用時，應禁止無關人員進入作業場所下方之危險區域，並設置警告標示。另勞檢處將檢查𨤳清，如未依上述規定辦理，將以違反職業安全衛生法，處3萬至30萬元罰鍰。
